What You’ll Receive…

The NGF Phone App

Your training program will be delivered to you via the NGF phone and desktop app. See your schedule for the week, check in to your training sessions, follow along to the HD video exercise demonstrations, track your progress.

3x Training Sessions p/wk

You get access to 3x training sessions a week. However, YOU decide how much you want to train each week. These training sessions are specifically designed to work together and are designed for folks who are new to training.

Access The Community

Work out at home by yourself OR train with a friendly group of queers! We are all working towards getting more active and reaching our fitness and transition goals. So come join the conversation and surround yourself with training buddies!

Peer Support

Zay Canters will be your personal support buddy and cheersquad. While the At Home Training Program is a pre-built, self-paced program, Zay will be there to support you if you ever need any help! You are not alone.

Progress Tracking

Ever time you complete a training session, the app will store your results and show you some cool graphs so you can see how far you’ve come! Tracking measurements is also available if you want it but it’s completely optional.

“I started at NGF because I wanted to incorporate regular movement into my schedule to improve my mental health, but didn’t really know what I should be doing.

The program really eased me into different exercises to get my body used to moving, and more importantly, Bowie was always incredibly encouraging and centred the exercises around what my body could already do, not what it couldn’t.

I’ve shied away from gyms and PTs because they often motivate people using body shame and punishment, and that isn’t an approach that works for me. With the training program could take things at my own pace, and Bowie was great at giving suggestions for modifications when I found some exercises too difficult.

Over a few months, and I could feel my own body getting noticeably stronger and a lot of the movements I struggled with in week 1 became really easy. I began looking forward to my training sessions as way to look after myself and my body.

“I have had an amazing experience being involved with The Non Gendered Fitness for the last 4 months.

Sometime into our Covid lockdown I stumbled across a  Facebook post introducing two awesome humans.. Bowie and Zay who are owners of NGF. This post could not have come at a better time as I was feeling unmotivated, tired, negative about myself and generally unwell so took the leap and signed up online to trial the 7 day online program.

From my very first connections online with Bowie and Zay they were encouraging, informative and understanding. The communication from this business is first class. I completed the 7 days myself and then joined the NGF after a call with Bowie to discuss what I felt I needed in relation to my health and well being.

I receive my 3 workouts per week through the easy to use app. The workouts are varied, well explained, interesting and also achievable which was the most important part for me. The fact that I wasn’t committing to 2 hours of gruelling sessions that left me both unable to walk or feeling like I never wanted to do anything like that again has kept me motivated throughout the last 4 months, and the bonus is I KEPT IT UP and feel heaps better.

As a trainer Bowie listens to your needs and has an incredibly supportive way of encouraging you to ‘do whatever makes you feel good’. Understanding that we are all human and some days are great and others not so much really helps to not beat myself up if I miss a workout.

Not only do NGF provide programs online through my app but also stretch and strength classes through zoom where I can connect with other members, and a fabulous podcast with some excellent discussion on topics relevant to a wide audience.

When you train at home, you won't need to stress about potentially awkward change room situations at the gym. Train at any time that suits you and fit training into YOUR schedule. Workout in a safer space with coaches who understand

It's important that you know that your individual needs and goals will be understood by someone who gets it. All team members at Non Gendered Fitness are transgender personal trainers experienced with working with queer and transgender and gender diverse folks. Many of our members are using gender-affirming movement to move better, feel better, support their transition and create a kind relationship with themselves and their body.

We show you exactly what you need to do and how to do it to get the result you're looking for. Gain access to a database of HD quality exercise video demonstrations, where your trainer goes into detail about everything you need to know. We'll make sure you ease into your training slowly to help you build a solid foundation. As a result, you’ll be able to use these skills to keep your body in top shape for the rest of your life!

Don’t have any exercise equipment? No problem! 

You don’t need to spend a bunch of money on expensive training gear or equipment, you can get started straight away. All you need is a device with an internet connection, and whatever clothes you feel comfortable moving in, even if it’s a kilt!

You’ll love the nutrition coaching program, which is a proven curriculum by Precision Nutrition which has helped thousands of people achieve their goals with small and simple incremental steps. Don’t worry, this program is not based on strict diets or limiting your options. This program is based on providing science-based education and simple, small action steps you can take to help you make better choices every day!

Worried about getting injured?

People who don’t have personal trainers can get injured easily because of their incorrect "form", in other words, not doing the exercise properly. Not to mention, pushing themselves too quickly, and even when they're experiencing pain! We support you to learn movements properly, progress at a safe pace, and you can even get feedback about your form from your coach.
